Compare Friday's Level II Message 6141806 to Monday's Level II Message 6164261 Looks like 4 MM dropped out and 4 new ones added with strong support on both the Bid and Ask with a tight spread. I'm not much of a Level II guy, but it looks like the MM are trying to out position themselves as I doubt they have too many shares to sell out of their inventory. (The MM on the ask on Friday had very low bids. Today, their bids are within range. Looks like they sold their wad on Friday.) If more buying comes in, they're gonna have to let the price run a tad to promote some selling so they can keep making a market without going too short...(JMOs...)
