Hi Sonny,

I agree with you about not buying your son a computer. The grandkids would love you even more if you sneak one under the Christmas tree this year, a Compact of course. <gg>

Thanks for the article about Dell. I'm looking for a new computer too. I saw on briefing that Intel is dropping the price of PII by 30%. Tony says it should be a couple of weeks before we see the price changes on the shelves (or online). I have been comparison shopping and so far DELL is not on my list. According the our techs, they are great because they put the primo components in but I really don't need a server at home. I did my part for DELL this weekend, I was discussing stocks with my father-in-law. He doesn't usually do techs and I told him he SHOULD and he may want to start with DELL.

Good Luck with your AOL, I'm sure it will be a good one. If it goes down a bit today everyone can blame you right!!??? <ggg>

Man that EBAY is on a tear, ta heck with at 30. If we would have gotten some first thing this morning we would be looking really, really good right now. Did Margaret get any?? That's where she's selling her art work isn't it??

I hadn't seen that PC sales were up but between corporate and Christmas buying Intel should have a really good 4th quarter.
