Well, maybe you should tell PINC that MBCK actually fixes the apps. According to the lit with the demo, the website, and Robert's own write-up, all say "Identifies most programs that are date vulnerable with updates from the Internet". Doesn't say "Identifies and fixes".

I take it you haven't even downloaded the demo or tried the software. Otherwise you'd have noted this distinction. And you're telling me about bad marksmanship?! You must have a lot of confidence putting money into something you've never even tried&#151and is somewhat suspect according to first-hand accounts on this thread.

So skip the extra evil basher rhetoric.

Humbly report, Jim, regarding PINC being the first and only y2k PC fix:

www5.zdnet.com

So, seems to me it's not the first, not the only, not listed, and does not fix.

All the best to ya!

Cheers,

PINC is the first company with Software that Fix's the applications software, not just identifies them from a Database.

Uh oh... is that why you invested in PINC?

First of all, as Bill just pointed out, your "understanding" is totally incorrect. According to the on-line manual:

There are two sections to the software testing:
· Executable Scan Only &/or
· Full scan of executables and data files (this includes searching for critical date data files using several formats and a special feature that allows the user to key in any file suffix.)

millenniumbugkit.com

I have two quick questions for you. According to what I read, the software originated in Australia ("An earlier version of the software has already been sold to major companies in Australia, where the software originated. The software is selling about 14,000 copies a month there.") yet was purchased from "Millennium Software Solutions, Inc. (MSS) of Montreal, Quebec."

1. Does MSS have a web site?
Note: It's not one of these--
msscorp.com
millenniumss.com

2. Have you confirmed if the 14,000 copies a month figure is accurate and still ongoing? I.e. was the "sale" to a distributor or to actual end-users?

Thanks!

- Jeff
