Bosco,
really agree with You on uncle AL. One of the few with people in finance/politics with actually a brain <g>...

On Europe, You see it quite optimistic, I can't share that here. Apart from Mr. Blair, who is following the Clinton model of the New Democrats of the US, all the others (Jospin, Schroeder and the Scandinavians) are still catering to their Old Left traditions which means more and more governments' influence in our lives and on our paychecks - something which I truly resent. Anyway, if this trend prevails, them voters will oust them and empower different political forces. Unlike the US the market economy is something many European's really fear off because they simply are not used to it after having enjoyed "protected markets" for almost 2-3 generations.

Apart from this, seen SIII ? As I expected, their loss is FAR GREATER... S3 Q3 Shr Dil Loss $0.69 Vs Profit $0.0. This means . SELL OFF TOMORROW. Give it a retest to $2 and under before thinking about loading up. You know I value its prospects but I know market emotions..

best regards
CROSSY

Dear Bosco,
while we tend to have different wishes for the outcome of the US midterm electon, we both seem to be doing quite well in the current stockmarket.

My recent ideas are working rather well:
CPQ up big after recommendation and direct-sales announcement
AMD up 12% to 22
PWAV up almost 20% to 12
ORCL up to 29.5

Retail sector got hit by the AFC/Russia. Now I'll be able to get some EBSC at a huge discount. But I'm still waiting on this one. Also I'm waiting to find the proper entry point for STRX.

plus I have identified 2 case-studies:
AURL is another FLOORLESS preferred in action. Price artificially depressed. I'm watching this from afar. Once that is wound up, this could be an interesting situation. Didn't invest yet - just looking.

GUCO had a Chapter 11, now it's back on NASDAQ. I'm eagerly waiting for their next 10Q statement. New Managmenet is from former Kroger's...

Hope Your portfolio is also doing well..

best regards
CROSSY
