>IBM - I know, you're using that too - do you know how I can stop that automatic loading of the IBM-website after every login? When I enter another standard-page it will be overwritten when I login - by IBM's site of course. It's ennerving...

hmmm... I do not login to any IBM.NET website, Jurgen. I ring the (nearest) local number (whatever it is) and my browser(s) are set up to "display a blank page upon startup".

Interesting to note that your hotels in Spain have RJ-11 sockets. Only the very modern hotels in northern Europe had those available. I carry TEL-to-RJ11 adaptors for France, Germany, BeNeLux, and Norway; and a US-to-EU power adaptor. The UK required yet another TEL and A/C power adaptor.

Then I got spoilt and plugged in a Nokia PCMCIA cellular modem and just used that with the Nokia GSM handi wherever I went (~9600 Baud, but WTH) I have always enjoyed hooking up from a cafe or, while riding on the train (^_^)

MadameGonzo and I went down to the local AUDI dealer today. They told us that it was not possible to buy a US-spec AUDI (including the Quattro TT that I want) in Germany, drive it around for awhile, and then and have it sent back to the USA. bummer.
