Kevin - re: " And the bad news for Intel is that revenues are staying FLAT"

Are you joking?

YOU DIDN"T EVEN READ INTEL's EARNINGS REPORT !

THEY SET AN ALL TIME RECORD OF $6.7 BILLION DOLLARS IN REVENUE !

Previous all time high was $6.5 Billion

That is GROWTH, Kevin .

And Intel's earnings of $0.89/share were UP fro $0.88 a year earlier - but not an all time high.

Unlike AMD which still hasn't hit its 1995 annual levels of revenue.

Kevin - Re: " In the long run, this does not add up to a stock price that goes UP. "

Then why has Intel's stock price been GOING UP ?

Intel is trading at >$5 higher than before their Q398 earnings release.

And AMD - is trading DOWN $2 from before the AMD Q398 earnings release!

You sure never let reality get in the way of your wrong opinions!

Paul

Kevin - Re: " Don't bother cherrypicking data points to refute me. I'm talking about trends. "

Well, Kevin - how's THIS for a trend -

AMD - 1997 all time high $48 1/2.

Current AMD price - 18 months later - $17 3/4.

Do you see a TREND THERE Kevin ?
