Someone pulled the plug on the nyse. Trading halted. Can't say I've seen this before.

Mike

I was glad to see that you still hate CCU enough to put it in this goofy market, so I couldn't resist when I saw I could get the same strike (Jan 45) at the same price (3 3/8). I hope the ride down is as short and sweet as the first trip, (though I'll take less <ggg>).

I know you hate XLNX but are you sitting on just a third and not adding now ? Flat today.

Thanks,
John

Mike, you ever think of investing in Security Dynamics
(SDTI)? They own RSA, which has a key patent in public-key
cryptography (used by many, e.g. Netscape). SDTI is down from
over 100 to the 10's now; went under 6 a couple of weeks
ago until they announced earnings and a buyback 10 days early.
P/E about 20. RSA at least is not hot air. (You would indirectly
own a little netscape via them, however... -G).

Disclaimer: I just bought a wee bit.

I heard Keane mentioned NPR this morning: that is, they are now underwriting All things Considered. (It was them and the World Bank in the announcements I heard!) This is, unofficially and impressionistically, a sign of a company emerging
as a CISCO-like must-own techie blue chip (fond memories of when
SUNW (Sun Microsystems) did this.... actually, I'd already taken my 40% and was pissed to watch it double, triple...) a few years ago.

Cheers,

HB
