As I've said, Hoggie, I don't set myself up as an "expert". Nor (unlike the megalomaniac yet hapless Cav) do I imagine for a moment that anything I say moves markets. So. Are you making money on CYGS? Sure it's a hackneyed phrase, but the tape doesn't lie. I'm an interested observer. And a commentator. In my own field, I am an expert, and I know what it takes to become one. You have demonstrated that your interest is not in making an objective overall assessment of management, but rather to narrow the focus onto a minority segment of the management... "Minority segment"? How much management IS there at CYGS? GE they ain't. You seem entirely to have missed one of the "good points" you concede: the CEOs and founders of BB companies tend to have a controlling interest. Just TRY to get rid of 'em if they prove corrupt or incompetent. I never said anything at all about Mealey, by the way. How much stock does he own? you railed against Mike Skillern for his involvement in the event that led to his father being imprisoned ...and then to bash that person or persons without regard to their abilities and character, but rather to only focus on the singular event that you had discovered. Frankly I feel that Mike Skillern was and is eminently deserving of a bit of a bash. Your comment reminds me of an hilarious obit I read when Althusser died. To set the scene: he was a prominent marxist philosopher and lit critter, much in vogue during the seventies. Unfortunately one day he lost it and strangled his wife, and ended his life in prison. His eulogist noted sadly that things would have turned out better "except for a biographical accident"...
