The specialists for MU are shrewd. They want to know which way the wind is blowing before they open the stock. Usually the Market orders at open are taken care of first and they usually take on the biggest risk and get screwed at the open.

So if you want to trade at the open just make it a market order and it will execute at 9.30...but just remember you may be helping the specialist unload or stock up at disadvantaged prices.:-)
