Thanks for the links.

My concern is that watching the global financial
mess has led me to holding gold mining stocks and
cash. Yet, if the Fed is going to ensure that the
bond markets remain solvent, they may jump in with
further interest rate reductions. If this turns out
to be the case, we may see rising equity markets
in spite of dangerously absurd underlying fundamentals.

For the time being I intend to hold my gold miners.
However, I have to admit to being a bit further under
water with them than I would normally find acceptable.

I keep waiting for some additional shoes to drop.....
but thus far the only thing dropping is the XAU.

Patience is expensive....

Thought I would stick my neck out and see how well my read on the charts are. I'll try to do this on ten stocks each day before the market opens. I'll score myself with the following:

+1 stock drops that day
0 stock remains steady (+/- 1/8th)
-1 stock rises that day

Today's Shorts:
INTC, AFS, CCL, PEG, CCI, DAL, ASA, NEM

Don't Short:
NKE, DELL
