re selling calls before earnings rise
If we'd listened to Bachman we'd have sold calls before the big downturn and would now be buying them. Dont worry we'll learn (But I still wish I'd waited and bought my calls during the downturn...oh wait a minute because of margin during a downturn I dont have any buying power thats right....LOL)

Brokerage: Definitely switch to Fidelity: I've been with them for years and on and off with Datek. Fidelity now has an excellent on line place to trade (trades not as cheap on line as Datek at $19.99 but if something goes wrong because of internet trading Fido will ALWAYS negotiate with you for your satisfaction Datek NEVER will) And Fido can deal with all mutual funds. I definitely recommend them, they have been very fair with me.
And they will give you lots of news and info but no recommendations.
