I have had the best and the worst from ETrade. I've never been bought in, but when something does get screwed up, their customer service Morde grande a banana.

I have had great luck finding and hanging on to shares short, but it almost isn't worth it some times. I've gotten some bad information from an agent, made a trade on it and ended up with a Fed call. It didn't show in my account on line, I wasn't contacted, but bammo, I got bought in to cover the call and a very bad time. So bad, that if they had bought that security in 10 minutes earlier or later, I would have been a few thousand dollars better off.

Their new web site sucks because it is very slow. Wish they could have add the content of the new site without all the friggin graphic. Really slows real time quotes down if you have a large watch list.
