Kevin, it is possible that I could miss the big drop, especially if it comes off a quick reversal during the trading day when I have temporarily ducked and covered from a run up. But I am short overnight always now, bigger across weekends. On an up day like today for YHOO, I cover (actually box)in the morning. and go short again in the afternoon. Tomorrow I will be traveling and can't trade, so I will remain short for the day.

I am day trading the long side of a boxed position. I can always get short by dumping the long side, but it is often difficult to short into a crash.

I manage a company that has about as much revenue and much larger earnings than EBAY, yet EBAY has a market cap over $3 billion. Not short yet, but watching for entry point.
