(grin) But of course, madam; and I also contributed the right amount.

A fabulous idea, although the tax deduction will necessarily be (how should we say it?) insignificant.

Dear me, madam! Surely Hell is frozen today, as you have submitted two reasoned ideas in one post (and you put a nice frost on the Hot Place yesterday with your suggestion regarding Social Security).

Though no one could help being massively successful in this market (and I hardly can understand what this can possibly have to do with my contributing to NPR), your idea of working NPR's phones during its fund raising drive has the potential of doing far more good than the total sum of every one of my usual contributions to that organization.
