Did Dell get tired of waiting for a stable NT ?
If there is a large enough order, or the customer is willing to share in the setup cost, Dell will build systems with whatever custom software the customer desires. This has included Linux as well as proprietary software written by the customer.

If you don't want to pay a setup fee then there must be a large general market for the software and this is generally limited to the big players like Microsoft.

UNIX on Intel.

This is funny.
I looked at ibm.com again, and I can't find Dell there now. Did anyone else see it?

The "view info" function on netscape says it was modified October 27, 1998 5:33:09 PM GMT. Other pages on that topic seem to have Oct 26 as their modification date.

Were they removed from the list; perhaps it was an error.
