Wow Glenn, if that report is correct, then to my non-CPA eye it appears that Bezos really DOES think he can get away with this.

As always, thanks for the endless supply of information you provide to this forum. Your ability to dig up diamonds in the coalpile of Amazon's last-minute filings is amazing. :)

It does appear to have been filed today, and most likely only appeared after the market closed.

If this is true, I'll be wishing I still had my November puts. :( The stock could gap down quite a bit tomorrow..

But a part of me says it can't be this easy, they wouldn't have risked everything by trying to pull a fast one like this.. Restating earnings is about the worst news that a company can ever have.. (Well, AOL did it and their stock is soaring..)
