Tippet, some people have to learn the hard way-that is why they invented tough love -it is fer those who don't want to listen. Market participants should listen to history look at the U.S. during the 20's look at SEA bubble which burst and look at how Japan's economy cannot be stimulated by lower rates. Every bubble in the past has collapsed it is only a matter of time. Depressions are a time to liquidate debt and capacity it is payback time for the excesses created during the prior boom. The Austrians believe that the boom/bust cycle is caused by Central Bank manipulation of interest rates instead of letting the market set rates. Remember supply and demand. The Austrians also believe that the world is in fer a most severe dose of tough love -it is unavoidable. The only question is when. Will believes the time frame is a matter of months. ho ho ho Mike

Hi Tip, re: Fiendbear site, have you seen the photo of the grizzly? Awesome:

fiendbear.com

Looking at image of bear for down markets makes me realize that for some this isn't just fun and games. I can't get over the photos of the hospital in Malaysia(?) (or Thailand?) which was shut down due to lack of funds. All the patients were taken away, but the staff had no place to go, so they were sleeping on the floor. Scarey stuff.
