freeus.....OTTO....its very beautiful.....Point Reyes National Sea Shore is there ...it is on the pacific plate...once having been connected to the mountains down around San Diego....its a strike slip fault...and has been working its way north for about 40 million yrs. (if I remember correctly)....the big one that leveled SF took place just south of Bodega...moving the pacific plate 22' in a moment...any wonder so much GOOD "ROCK and ROLL" is centered here...gg Tim
