Thanks for your nice comment. No, I won't be leaving the thread any time soon. Nor will I be slackening off to any degree, quite the contrary. It seems that every week is challenging in this market and meeting the challenge whether on an up or down down is well worth the effort. For a changee my satisfaction isn't all just spiritual as it was when I was a teacher. There is a an added element which I must say I enjoy. The combination of teacher, graphic artist and just enthusasism about about anything financial is not usual.. The CFA that I met in a Telescan Seminar about 12 months ago, now works for Yale University in their investment department is now a subscriber to market gems.. and the 4 doctors comprising the Golden Orthopedic surgery, and sports medicine unit near West Boca Med center are all subscribers as well as 2 plastic surgeons and the guy that delivers our water every few weeks, the carpet cleaner, the guy that works out with Andy and the list goes on.. every walk of life... But the best of all.. is Jesse, a humble, nice ex-New York City Department of Education supervisor who is now 64.... He showed me his portfolio during dinner on Saturday... Asking MY ADVICE. It was $3,000,000.. in his portfolio.. I told him I'd rather hear his advice.. He has probably the one of the 'original' traders as for 25 years he's never held a stock longer than 3 months. A very interesting, focused and impressive human being.. Jesse is....
