Liz, Would be interested in the specifics. Seems to me that you're about a year too late here honey. Also would be interested to know what the rules are for shorting stocks in Canada. Minimum stock price, margin requirements, etc. Here in the US anything under $2 cannot be shorted by mere mortals. What event would you see occurring that would drive this stock price down below the $.50 base that it established in Aug/Sep? Since then they've had nothing but good news, including one exploratory well. The only things I can see that folks would be concerned about are: 1) the massive loan that's due 12/31/98, and 2) gas prices. Considering Benz owes the money to Encap and one of the managing directors of Encap is on their board, I'm not losing any sleep over this one. Nat. gas prices are already popping up even with heating season barely begun here in the US Northeast. The near months are past $2.50, well on their way to $3 As long as gas prices do not crash Benz will be in good shape. Nothwithstanding my disagreement with you over the prospects for Benz, I really welcome your presence here. With any amount of luck you will succeed in driving this price down to even more rediculous levels. Maybe you can do us all a huge favor and post your thoughts on the Benz/Ultra similarity in the UP thread, so as to draw in some of those folks. I would love to build up a huge short interest in this stock at the current quote. I still have about 1/3 of my powder left that was earmarked for this stock, so I would benefit greatly by a temporary dip caused by irrational selling/shorting. I am counting on you --- please do not let me down. I promise I will stay out of the market today -- let's see what you can do!
