CBNR NEWS!

PR NEWSWIRE) Cabec Energy Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: CBNR) Announces That
Cabec Energy Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: CBNR) Announces That Plastic Pallet
Production Inc., a Subsidiary of Cabec, has Signed a Contract to Sell Equipment
and Royalty Rights to Pace Plastic Pallet Inc. in Oklahoma

DALLAS, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- On Monday October 19, 1998 at 5 p.m.
Plastic Pallet Production Inc. and Pace Plastic Pallet Inc. of Norman,
Oklahoma entered into a contract where Pace is purchasing immediately a
complete Injection Molding System for plastic pallet production of
100,000 pallets per month.
These pallets will be produced for the MPP Pool and leased to PPP
customers. Pace will purchase a second system to produce an additional
100,000 pallets per month for its own pooling venture, which will be in
cooperation with MPP's Pallet Pool. PPP calculated the over all value of this
contract in equipment sale and royalty fees of approximately $35.5 million.
Production is scheduled to begin at the end of April 1999.
Estimated revenue from the production of Pace 100,000 pallets per month
over the next 36 months from the day production starts is projected at
$249.7 million with estimated profits of $66.6 million.
PPP is scheduled to start its own production of 100,000 pallets per month
in March 1999 with the same projections on revenue and profits, as the Pace
production will generate. Therefore, total revenue over 36 months is
calculated to approximately $499.4 million with $133.2 million in profits
(these figures are calculated on NO production increase over the 36 month
period, in reality it is planned to increase the production by 100% every
8 months). All pallets will be fitted out with a RF microchip, which will be
supplied by Vimonta in Switzerland. After 36 months of operation the assets
of pallets in the MPP Pool will be approximately $173 million reflecting into
7.2 million pallets in operation.

Paul A. Kruger, Chairman of Pace Plastic Pallets Inc. stated:
"After extensive research we made the decision to work with Plastic Pallet
Production Inc. based on their achievement on production equipment development
and plastic pallet design which in our opinion is the only way to produce
workable pallets at a price which allows the plastic pallets to be leased and
pooled.
"Mass production of plastic pallets with conventional high-pressure
injection molding equipment would make this project impossible.
"We at Pace have not found any other pallet design, which would give us
confidence that it can work. The PPP design is so advanced that we are
convinced it will be the future standard in Plastic Pallets. We are also very
pleased with Mr. Michael John's devotion to this project and his technical
skill and vision to the future."

Mr. Michael John stated:
"We at PPP are grateful for the trust put in us by Pace Plastic Pallet and
that we were awarded with this contract. We'd like to compliment the
Management of Pace for their decision and are looking forward to a long and
prosperous relationship.
"Plastic Pallet Production Inc. is negotiating two more prospective
contracts similar to the one with Pace and we will keep everyone updated with
further press releases as soon as new developments are made.
"We'd like to take the opportunity of this press release to inform
everyone that Mr. U. Schorb has resigned from Cabec's Board of Directors.
Mercedes in Germany promoted Mr. Schorb to a different position and there
could be a conflict of interest if he had remained on the Board. In a mutual
interest we accepted his resignation and wish him good luck in his new
position.
"Mr. Schorb will be replaced by Mr. Mark J. Potts director of Sales and
Marketing of MPP a subsidiary of PPP. Mr. M. J. Potts spent many years as
Director of Sales at Chep USA, chep.com, and has fundamental
knowledge of pallet pooling operations. Mr. Potts was offered this position
for his involvement in the contract between Pace and PPP and his devotion to
the entire project.
"Cabec is pleased to welcome him to the Board of Directors."
