>> Simple. Comdex and 4thQ sales Hype. Just look at IOM's chart for the last couple of years. This time of year leading up to about Dec. 1 is always involved in a price runup. But after Dec.1, look out below. <<

1994. From Oct 1 to Dec 1, the price stayed around 3 3/8. Through the rest of the year it stayed about the same, closing the year at 3 1/4. No big rise. No big drop.

1995. From Oct 1 to Dec 1, the price rose from 22 7/8 to 42 3/4. Through the rest of the year it continued to rise to 48 5/8. No December decline...

1996. From Oct 1 to Dec 1, the price dropped from 24 3/8 to 22 5/8. Through the rest of the year it continued to decline to 17 3/8. No pre-December rise...

1997. From Oct 1 to Dec 1, the price rose from 26 1/4 to 32 1/2. Through the rest of the year it dropped to 25 (12 1/2 after 2:1 split). Okay, you got one right...

Have you ever thought about double-checking what you say before you say it?
