I bought a small amount at about $60 in Sept., and held onto it though all the market BS (even when Dell was at $48, that sucks!). It does take patience.

Joe, just make sure you tell us first before you short so that we can load up ;-).
Seriously though, the others are right. If you buy more DELL now, even if it goes down to the 50's, in six months you'll be much better off, so hold on to it.

There is no way to escape buying at the high sometimes. With Dell you just have to wait awhile longer after dips. I am not qualified to give advice but if it were my money I would buy right at the end of November (or any other time the overall Nasdaq does a dip). My best advice would be to have your broker transfer the stock to your name, get the certificate and place it in a safe deposit box. That makes it a little harder to lose it.
