I haven't made a habbit of tracking these, but my impression is that the vast majority of the time, since July, the market has usually gone the opposite way after the first few minutes. Followed in some cases by a tug of war through the morning. Hope nobody tries to use these as real predictors, they're as bad or worse than after-hours quotes. Today's ASND bid is up to 45 1/4 pre-opening, though...ask is 45 5/16...
