To All:

Currently ODIS is around 4 1/4... I do not have a real time quote. Looks like we will all get our wish of it going to 4 or below.

At all times too rosy except when you and I post. ORCL has the Internet market in its pocket. OO development doesn't necessarily help this company. Distributed computing via reincarnated NC doesn't help this company. It is absolutely unclear how XML will benefit it. I made all these arguments long ago. ODIS doesn't go after that kind of positioning. They're still looking to be the enterprise solution.

You're previous post was a correct assessment. The diehards here refuse to look at the objective facts. Suicide in this business. They say, "why is Wall Street not seeing this wonderful company the way we do? How could HQ be so irresponsible?" This is the amateur public talking and it implies that 4 is no bottom. The amateurs claim they're booked a plenty at 4. You should be sell stop at 4 even if you're flat.

I keep thinking about this one wag who put his kid's college money into this dog. He felt quite triumphant thinking that he'd insulted me by proving to the world what a superior investment it was. That was at 7. But the usual troops herald Goldman and Bowman. Bowman has the track record and Goldman has -. And don't forget that the company got in bed with MSFT and Sun. That's worth 100 copies per month. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, slip slidin' away, slip slidin' away.
