summarized today in the NYTimes. Anyone have the short

Walter and Roger,

This is only my opinion, but I think Adaptec is totally off base. I think they just missed the Fibre Channel adapter market, and let companies like Emulex and QLogic outmaneuver them. They certainly have a huge vested interest in SCSI, but the future of storage sure appears to Fibre Channel.
