To Clark Hare: Thank you for posting the Q white paper on 3rd gen (and the link to it) on the Qualcomm News thread here in SI. To all: Strongly recommend anyone interested in 3rd gen to read it. While much of it is by definition highly technical, even a somewhat handicapped "learner" such as myself can benefit IMO. It actually is in English - well sort of. :-) Reasoned and clear. Will be interesting to see when (or more likely - if) a WCDMA "white paper" is ever issued. Chalk one up for the Q IMO. Chaz
