SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 27, 1998--Washington state's
fastest-growing technology marketing/communications firm announces a
huge influx of new business.
Five high-tech companies based in the Northwest, California and
New York City have signed contracts with Imagio. The agency's full
range of marketing services, including advertising, public relations,
interactive development and strategic market analysis, will be
tailored to meet each client's specific needs.
Seeking the strength and efficiency of an integrated approach to
marketing, Everett, Wash.-based Intermec is enlisting multiple Imagio
services. Along with a major advertising campaign that is currently
underway, Imagio is handling interactive marketing and Web site
design, and a public relations push led by the agency's Enterprise
Technology PR team. This integrated approach is supporting Intermec's
Local Area Systems Division, the largest division within the company.
Intermec is a global leader in the development, manufacturing and
integration of automated data collection and mobile computing systems.
Ampex, based in Redwood City, Calif., is utilizing Imagio to
launch an aggressive public relations campaign and to conduct vital
marketing research. "Imagio proved its effectiveness in garnering
customer appeal, favorable product reviews and editorial accolades
time and time again in our work together during my tenure at a
computer peripherals company," says Michael Cooper, head of Ampex
operations. "I feel confident that Imagio's Enterprise Division will
help Ampex continue to be successful in its traditional
vertical markets." Ampex is one of the world's leading innovators in
the fields of magnetic recording, digital image processing and high
performance digital storage.
MicroNet is another company retaining Imagio's expertise in
public relations. The Irvine, Calif. company, which develops and
manufactures complete high performance disk arrays and RAID solutions,
hired Imagio to promote its products to prepress and digital video
applications and direct its push into the enterprise market.
Imagio is now Nth Dimension's advertising agency of record,
winning the business of the Bothell, Wash.-based company after a
multiple-agency review. Imagio's first major project is the creation
of a campaign launching Wireless Dimension(tm), Nth Dimension's
Internet site that enables users to research, assess and order cell
phone service that fits their specific needs.
Duck.com is a privately held, cutting-edge technology company
headquartered in New York City, with major investments from the
Travelers Group. Duck.com, which is retaining Imagio for strategic
planning and market research, is a leader in the desktop video
revolution, leveraging its TrueMotion compression technology to enable
TV-to-PC convergence.

high-tech companies to strategically support all marketing and
communications needs. The company offers a complete range of services
