SOOOO WHAt? Bottom line is earnings which don't look promising for the next two quarters. Looks like transition year will be 99 and not 98. If all goes right for PRST I would expect earnings to start creeping up early next year and increasing substantially end of next year. That is if PRST does their marketing job. Who knows? I dumped at 12 and have been following the action waiting for the turn around. Might consider buying back in if stock dips to 5 or less.

Hey Cheerleader Boy.....

Still singing the song for Bob Howard?? I just learned that good ol' Bob has just won another prestigious award.....The Robert Brennan Stock Trading Award, an award given to those who best exemplify that noble pursuit of separating fools from their money. Howard has a been a contender for several years running and was rumored to say...."I couldn't have done this without the help of my son, and others, especially Scott Galloway." "Galloway, said Howard, was instrumental in my final stage of duping those naive investors into believing that PRST was a growth..oops...value play that would continue to appreciate...oops...depreciate over time." He went on to say, "Scott was the perfect fit for my strategy, as his anger and lack of objectivity coupled with his questionable analytical skills was perfect for my PRST pump pump and dump dump story." Howard was chosen for his obvious lack of ethics and his willingness to rape and pillage his shareholders. He led PRST to the top of financial notarity as the single most ludicrous short squeeze of the 90's. He was also given credit for recruiting Carleton Lutts (of Cabot Market Letter infamy) to anchor his team of morons and scammers. Lutts was left holding the bag, as Howard & offspring unloaded shares at remarkably higher levels. Lutts was unavailable for comment and was last spotted near the cliffs of Salem, Ma. following a pack of lemmings into the horizon. Galloway was rumored to be among those lemmings, but confirmation was not available.

Does anyone on this site know why sales are up but gross profits (and net earnings) are down? I can't find a copy of the third quarter financials (just management's discussion) - what is cash flow? How did extraordinary costs factor into the net earnings line? I can't seem to find as much information on this stock as I'd like - can you direct me to more detail? How does Presstek expect to compete, marketing-wise, with those that already have market penetration and, presumably, burgeoning technology to match Presstek's? Are revenues "real" or from prototype sales? I love the concept of this one, but need more detail.

Thanks for your help, anyone.
