Steve,

>>Seriously, all of this interest in COMS indicates to me that the big boys are getting in slowly.<<

This is what I've been suspecting and why I haven't taken a
temporary profit. Once the big guys want in, they're going
to roll over everybody else, and we can add a few more pts
of updraft.

Look at today's early action. I see one 400K block and another
500K block. I guess I better get use to seeing those<g>.

Well, we're going down a bit, so I might as well stock up
a few more:-) My feeling is profit taking will happen at
38+. 35 resistance a little tough this morning, but
we'll get through it.

>>They are perhaps awaiting a major announcement... hmmm... wonder what that announcement might be <VBG><<

I don't think they need any more announcements. They're already
sold. 3Com has monopoly on all the cable modems from TCI.
TCI is bought by AT&T (they spent how many $billions to buy
TCI?) and is going to spend $3Billion just to
update all of TCI's equipment, which I don't think includes
Cable Modems. So, I think it's fair to say that 3Com has
a major contract with a major serious partner, that absolutely
needs to spend $Billions to gain access to the Local Telecom
Market otherwise, they are dead ducks. I think AT&T has
scratched out xDSL as their way to gain local telecom market
share. It's ironic, because 3Com will probably be selling
huge amounts of xDSL modems to AT&T's competitors (unless
there was some sort of rule in the contract:-) ).

btw...do you have any exit point? Or are you just playing it
by ear? Oh, yeah, you had some system (non-astrological)
that I should trust...what was that again?:-)
