John and Lindy,

Both your last posts were so valuable to this board. Very biased, MSFT defensive, and of little actual value.

John,

Your logic on comparing a company that has strong account control on large companies to a company that has a clear product monopoly and abuses the monopoly power against upstart technology threats. Try comparing apples to apples first.

Lindy,

Speaking out of both sides of your mouth by saying that the DOJ's case against MSFT and then saying that the price is being held back because of the court case against MSFT. Make up your mind. Lets use real logic - if the DOJ case was soo weak then the MSFT stock would be FLYING!! The fact that it is not flying and in fact slumping is a strong indication that the investors dont feel good about MSFT's chances.

While MSFT stock is slumping (and will likely drop even further in the coming weeks) stocks like IBM and NOVL have been hitting new 52-week highs over and over. Even Intel's stock is getting close to its 52 week high.

So you are right - start eating a lot of crow - but for the last posting you made.

Toy

Don't confuse what the lawyers say with evidence.
