those that missed the boat, thought they were missing out on the party (and they did for several days... the price of a trans-Atlantic ticket... wasted) until they read the paper a few days later. Thiose that went down w/ the boat gladly would have parted w/ the price of 100 tickets to not be on the ship.

I'd much rather miss out on some upside and get out than wait around for the the top. Nobody gets in at the bottom and exits at the top. You forget the proverb from the experienced investor... when asked how he always seemed to make money and how did he do it... he responded "I always sold too soon."

You have hit the iceberg BTW, just like the passengers of the Titanic.. you just don't kno wit yet cause the ship's crew (Wall Street) doesn't want to start a panic and thinks they might be able to salvage the ship... besides they know if she goes down there aren't enough lifeboats anyway so why start a panic. This ship is going down w/ all hands. Run for the boats... NOW.
