This is not only "future business after 2000", this is a direction that the company will expand in. Year 2000 has it's own opportunities, after year 2000 there will still be ample work to do and it too will generate income; there's a lot of data to be converted after the systems are fixed.

Groupware in itself continues to be an area where expansion will continue as companies attempt to further eliminate overheads and consolidate information systems. Expertise in this area is positive for future revenue flow. New methods, hardware, and software will continue to drive groupware implementations.

One of the areas that is drastically missing from management who need to make decisions isn't only more financial data or the consolidation of the financial data. It is more along the lines of non financial data similar to what they are proposing.

Companies in general are well aware of what the revenues are and the costs associated. The drive to continue to constantly gain more market share remains but I think it is being tempered with the mentality of 'are we getting maximum profits from our current market share?'We've all heard the saying that it's easier to keep a customer than to get a new one. I think this is an extension of this; ok we got the customer, we can keep the customer, now lets maximize the profit of the customer.

Having the kind of customer data that I am projecting this program is designed to give, and couple that with groupware that gives the information to those making the decision, it seems top me that this is a good compliment to TPI business.

Isn't it ironic that they are designing information systems; a company that seems to have difficulty providing information......hmmmm
