OT -- Beware of Shopping.com

Lisa, since you put me on to Shopping.com, I just thought that I'd warn you about their responses to problems with orders.

I have ordered from them a few times without incident. But, about a month ago I order some books from them and didn't receive my entire order. Nor did I receive any information concerning stocking problems. When I tried to contact their customer "service" by phone to inform them of the possible error, I spent several minutes speed-dialing before I past the busy signal and then waited for 20 minutes to speak to a customer support person who forwarded me to voicemail. I never heard back.

After several such attempts at contacts of both email and voicemail, I still have gotten no response to my situation. So far, I have put in over three hours with no satisfaction. I have contacted my credit card company and the Better Business Bureau.

I thought I'd pass this information along as a warning to those of you who are used to better business practices -- A little money saved may not be worth the difference in service.
