BATON ROUGE, La., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Internet Media Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: USRF) announced today that it had placed its first Wireless Internet customer on-line in Santa Fe, NM, thereby making history. USRF's Santa Fe customer can, for the first time in the State of New Mexico, access the Internet at ISDN-equivalent speed. Except for the USRF Wireless Internet service, there is no ISDN Internet service available for individual access in that State. "We are very excited to launch our Wireless Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Santa Fe, because we can now offer a much demanded service that, at least in New Mexico, U S West (NYSE: USW) simply does not offer, that is, ISDN-equivalent-speed access to the Internet," said David Loflin, USRF's President. "When I first saw the reaction of Santa Fe ISP veterans to our Wireless Internet system, I became more certain that our wireless service would be very popular in Santa Fe. The businesses that we have talked to can't wait to get ISDN, or even T-1, access speed to the Internet, without having to call the phone company. As our marketing takes hold there, based on our conversations around Santa Fe, we are anticipating a great response from customers." David Loflin reiterated that, since there is no ISDN service to individuals anywhere in the State of New Mexico, USRF expected that its Wireless Internet service would be even more attractive to customers.
