Very substantial defense there, John. It was all Clinton's fault, like the decline of the west in general. Microsoft would never oversell NT. Just like nobody on this board would. On the military and defense issues in general, to paraphrase the "where's the harm" antitrust defense, where's the threat? The former Soviet Union, which couldn't handle the ragtag Chechens? The Chinese, who know better than to waste hard currency on excessive military buildup? North Korea, going to invade the south with millions of starving soldiers? There's always the nuclear wild card, but conventional forces aren't going to help on that one.

You were a pilot in Viet Nam? Cool. Fighter jock? Flying off of aircraft carriers? Jousting with Sam and Charlie? If so, I am, for once, truly impressed.
