Yup! Real News ………………………………………………………………….

Don't mean to keep honking my horn here, but could not help in noticing some illuminating points. First, a lot of the Imagio initiative may bear the hand of Michael Cooper. Second, for now, the expansion path appears to be heading in the direction of the Net and Digital Video for TV and third, now beginning to hear from Mr. C, he may be the best innovation yet for Ampex (to paraphrase Philip Fisher, it all comes down to management) : see

duck.com.

note the emphasis on entertainment products from Duck's web page.

Also noticed the Ampex is being positioned to "it's traditional vertical markets." Looks like Ampex DST is seen in a component role strategy.

Finally, I'm delightfully surprised to see that Imagio is taking a very proactive role in this endeavor. On the product development side, partnering has been in for some time. No one, even a mighty IBM attempts to do it as a lone _ _ _ _ (my apologies) anymore. Perhaps we are seeing the rewrite of the book for an integrated "full range of marketing services" on the marketing and advertising side.
