marc- what is he going to tell me if i call? whats the point? its just a botched deal. thats it. i am not happy with management, but i am all out of hyperbole since it is obvious these people dont have the balls or the desire to help shareholders. it amazes me that even at this late date they can not come to terms with how badly they have run things. of course, losers always blame everyone but themselves. so, thats it. at the end of the day what difference is it going to make if ADSL is successful? it isnt going to help WSTL. BEL is obviously not really serious about the deployment...GTE (despite DR.TECHs wishful thinking) is a lost cause, LU is nowhere to be found...... starting to get the picture? PAIR and AWRE may be bought. personally i doubt it, but they might be though it wont be for much of a premium,IMHO. tell me what i am missing. the great opportunities? all the money they are going to make in the 100 billion $ ADSL market<G>? i am buying some far out calls, just in the slim chance something might happen. but, i am also selling the common. at this point a 50% loss is not that bad. this just isnt the company i thought it was. thats what makes me sad. i dont know if it ever was... but for a while it seemed like a good opportunity. my only hope is that i never make the same mistakes again. good luck to all, trey
