Thanks for your comment. I am certainly a novice when it comes to pricing gold mining companies with little or no earnings. Does ounces of gold above ground and gold reserves per share matter in determining the stock price? I chose ABX based on the look and feel of its stock chart. Seemed to have some momentum, and was running along its upper trading band, while others seemed to be staggering a bit. Where can one find a good discussion of present and future valuations for the gold majors? Thanks again for your help. Dennis
