Wow, Amazon just went negative for the day.. down 1/16..

I can't remember the last time I saw red on that damn symbol. :) Glad I went short..

(well, at least until the "thing" surprises me and jumps up 30 points in a day)

Looks like we both could have waited a bit - the push by the Internets "feels like" it is weakening today. Maybe a last gasp up tomorrow or maybe just a sell-off from here. The further we get into this rally, the more I think it is a "buy the rumor, sell on the news" scenario. Pure TA traders might want some confirming signals of the top before committing themselves heavily - it looks like we may get a pretty darn good one today.

A gap at the opening followed by a lower close would be a blaring "shooting star". we'll see in a few minutes.
