Any credit crunch or liquidity squeeze that developes over the next
few months that does **not** respond to Greenspans easing would signal,
IMO a clear warning that deflationary forces have gathered significant
momentum.

Deflation is falling retail prices - falling credit costs and finally
falling realestate prices.

What is interesting here is that a rising stock market would "mask"
the actual underlying weakness in bond issues.

I'm sure this has already been brought-up on this thread, but it is
worth noting again....I would not like to be a sleep if this scenario
developes.
