MDIN WAKE UP CALL! In case you didn't know, big things are afoot.

I suggest people who have not been following the Dayton/MDIN saga to do so on short order.
Read MDIN's old press release's at medinahenergy.com
and Daytons old press release's at
dayton-mining.com (especially the July 13 and July 21 release)

Just for a quick update. Last Wednesday, the chilean supreme court threw out Daytons suits against Mrs Olvis concerning her claims to the Churrmata properity. However, the court gave Dayton 7 days to show they have mineral rights to the disputed property if they want the cases reinstated. This is because MDIN's attorney had an avaidavit from the registery office showing that DAY had never filed a claim for the Churrmata property. The only owner is Mrs. Olvis(she got it from her son.) Dayton should have filed a claim within 2 years after they bought Andicollo from chevron back in 1991ish time frame. It is too late to do so. Tomorrow, DAY will be having a meeting with a Judge-they will have nothing to show him. Then what do you think will happen?
Court ruled back in January, that Dayton could not be mining from the disputed properites. They have done so in a big way. Large damage award will be going to the Olivos and then to MDIN have bought the rights of the law suit. Poor Dayton! At the same time, they will be meeting with their creditors to try to get out of default on their loan. If Dayton loses the suit, the bank may just foreclosue! Dayton will have to declare bankruptcy-I'm not sure that will help them in Chile. Mentime, MDIN gets the property, gets damage claims, and go about drill lipangue.
By the way, MDIN will probably put out a press release after any rulings by the judge as this certainly has a large material affect on MDIN.

One other thought. Keep in mind this is the end of the road. Dayton has run out of appeals.
