You're pretty brave to short Ebay. With that much cap they can buy earnings (profitable companies) with stock. It could be a long time before they go down. Of course, any inflated PE is a big target in a volatile market, but things have settled down a lot the last couple of weeks. I take it you think things are going to shake loose again?

Ob TDFX: Stop worrying about the OEM announcement. The first should be out within a couple of days. Three weeks to Comdex, then Weee!
Options expire after Comdex, might be a wise purchase right now.

Sun,

I got a little chuckle out your BTW... "bought another 1000 shares today. I think the market is due for a bit of pull back over the next few days though."

We've discussed earlier the "tactic" of TDFX moving up on bad news and down on good news. Seems to have played out somewhat for yesterday and today. Early morning negative from Greenberg and TDFX goes up. OEM/Banshee deal "confirmed" late in the day/after the close and today of course TDFX drops a tad. Are you expecting that the pull back of the market will result in a TDFX move up or that you're expecting a negative TDFX story that will drive the share value upward? :o)

Serious question(s) now....Assuming that Intel wants barriers to entry in their market what would they do? What does AMD do to get a differentiator and gain market share?

Wouldn't it be hysterical if Diamond was concerned about Creative controlling the flow of 3Dfx chips and decided that they needed to have a comparable or better equity interest in TDFX to guarantee supply?
