Robert, I have never said that MSFT was not a great investment for stockholders to date. In fact, it was a fantastic stock for all those lucky investors of MSFT over the past 5+ years! I dont know how many times and ways I can say this.

The battles I have with many of you on this board is that I am always talking about present and future predictions and you all simply want to rest on your laurels and reflact on how good the past has been.

Lets keep our discussions on trying to bring up valuable discussions about whats happening to MSFT TODAY and what factors will possibly affect the price of MSFT stock (and the overall success of MSFT) in the months and years to come.

Afterall, is that not what all you MSFT investors really want to hear? I am (and a few others as well) the board contrarian and I will provide whatever ammunition possible to give you the negative factors that will affect MSFT. (I will also aggresively attack any MSFT FUD and useless MSFT biased comments that I see - sorry I cant help that).

Your last post sentence is very valuable in that any purchase in a stock that you make should not have ANY emotional ties to it. Regardless of the type of stock you hold, it should ALWAYS be held as long as you feel it is traveling in the right direction or get out.

If you feel that MSFT still has a lot of forward movement to offer, then more power to ya!

Cheers!
