>>They just want to turn the clock back to the 50's is my impression.<<

Now why would men want to do that? Imagine, going back to having the expectation of being the "sole" breadwinner, supporting the kids, little things like opening a door for a female, always picking up the tab on a date......sheesh, talk about oppressive.....

Michelle: "I dont think the RR is scary to men are they?"

No, they're not. If we trembled in fear of every minority idea out there we'd still be using stone knives and wearing mammoth-skin robes.

BTW, given the fact that fear is most often little more than irrational ignorance, are you not implying in that statement that women are somehow more susceptible to irrationality? <vbg>

"They just want to turn the clock back to the 50s is my impression." Wow. Would that bring back cars with wide whitewalls, big steering wheels, huge gas-guzzling engines, lots of chrome and fins? Now they just may have something there - but despite the rantings of the purposefully paranoid feminists, the chances of getting Detroit to build them again are better than the chance of making abortions illegal.
