A closer steps into the room. First John, my issues don't have anything at all to do with whether the SEBL product set is Y2K compliant at all. Now, unless the PRESIDENT can install this stuff you have a bit of a problem. So you have convinced the VP of Sales/Mkt and I am cool with that. And you have done an end run on the CIO/VP of IS with the VP of Sales/Mkt, going straight to the President. Let me tell you EXACTLY what that gets you in my $5B organization. It gets you a closed door discussion with me, the CIO/VP of IS, where I carefully explain why I am going to hand you your ass and you will never be installed in my shop. Start over. ttf
