Maurice:

I am going to read the history...

that there are many ways from A to B etc and so on leads to the conclusion that all patent cases are decided arbitarily = flippism

Now, I am being quoted out of context. The comment many ways from point A to point B was for patents. Do you remember how we were talking about "blocking patents" And with respect to the "blocking patents", I responded that there are many different ways to implement X and similiarly, there are many ways from point A to point B. Then I got flamed and was told repeatedly that I don't know anything about IP, etc., etc.

What is funny is that when Ericsson asserts that they have a "blocking patent", all I read on the thread is "there are many ways from point A to point B" How ironic.

Next, the patent issue and whether Ericsson and/or Analysts are spreading FUD about Qualcomm is an entirely different manner, unrelated to a patent infringement suit.
