You have to give credit to liberal Democrats for the rotting inner city schools. This is the party that has run these cities for generations. It is what you get when every liberal big government dream comes true.

The credit for rotting inner cities and schools goes to the Democratic political machines, public housing and urban flight. Over 90% of the funds for schools come from local taxes. The federal government is primarily useful for the student loan/grant programs - otherwise, it is just a political facade like the 100,000 school marms program.
