Mr.K,

How do the RR "police" the art world? Is there art that you are unable to see?

Yes they do. See prior discussion on Mapplethorpe exhibition, which ended up getting cancelled and the curator was fined.

how do ratings of TV shows affect what you watch?

Implicitly, they dont, or shouldnt. But in reality they do, because of the issues with sponsors etc.

But both of these cases are similar to anything forced upon you by the Dems. Example the Dems dont force you to deal with affirmative action (which btw I dont like either) you can always get another job. Just like I can always buy another CD instead of that Gangsta rap I wanted. Or I can always obtain RU486 from Canada, right? Its all a matter of the degree of obstacles the politicians place in front of these social priorities. I repeatedly hear from you all that the Dems are the controlling social party - the repubs are not. In this I think you are wrong. The republicans have become at least as socially manipulative as the Dems in recent years. Forget the early 70s when the Dems were in favor of busing. That just isnt relevant anymore.
