Your logic is EXTREMELY flawed.

Bid.com sells merchandise. High inventory costs. Low margins.

eBay's $12.9M in revenues was for commissions on items they NEVER TOUCH. (This represented $195M in gross merchandise sales.)

You would be much better off comparing BID.COM with OnSale. Then look at OnSale's revenues compared to those of BID.COM. Then look at the market cap divided by sales. Onsale recently reported quarterly revenues of $57M and they still lost money.

eBay is in an entirely different league and deserves an entirely different multiple.
